Trade Show GTM Sprint

Turn event presence into a pipeline motion.

Build the account list, outreach, meetings, qualification, CRM workflow and follow-up before the booth opens: then carry useful context into the sales process after it closes.

The commercial problem

The event is a date. The pipeline motion begins before it.

Without targeting, outreach, qualification and owned follow-up, a significant event investment can collapse into disconnected scans, notes and delayed sales action.

Full Sprint scope

One operating system across the event lifecycle.

A fixed-price, time-bound commercial Sprint covering strategy, preparation, outreach, on-site support, follow-up and review. It is not event management, booth production or a guarantee of meetings or revenue.

Phase 01 · Strategy & preparation

Prioritise who matters before the attendee list becomes noise.

Up to four strategy/workshop sessions align event objectives, market assumptions, roles, messaging, meeting availability and the operating plan.

Overland

Objectives, research, account tiers, contact processing, workflows and event GTM plan.

Client

ICP validation, strategic relationships, product truth, executive access and commercial approvals.

Tier 1

Must-meet accounts

High-fit named accounts requiring deeper research, executive context and deliberate meeting preparation.

Research capacity

Up to 300 target accounts and 1,000 contacts processed. Tiers adapt to the market and event; they are not promises of attendee access or contactability.

Phase 02 · Pre-show outreach

Open relevant conversations before calendars fill.

Coordinate email, LinkedIn and calling where appropriate around up to three message variations. The objective is a useful meeting workflow: not indiscriminate event spam.

Overland manages targeting, messaging, follow-up and booking workflow. Prospect response and meeting acceptance cannot be guaranteed.

Meeting booking

Coordinate interest, availability, attendees and commercial context so meetings begin with a clear reason.

Booth and visitor messaging

Align the live conversation with the same market thesis used in pre-show outreach.

Calling where appropriate

Use calls for prospecting, follow-up or confirmation without inventing a fixed event call quota.

Phase 03 · On-site execution

Turn live conversations into usable sales intelligence.

For up to four event days, support qualification, CRM capture, conversation context, ownership and daily reprioritisation within the agreed scope.

Not booth staffing by default

Antonio’s role is GTM orchestration and agreed on-site commercial support. The client owns product claims, sales decisions and relationship commitments.

Badge scan vs sales intelligence

Capture what the next salesperson needs to know.

A scan proves presence. Qualification records fit, intent, timing, conversation context, ownership and the agreed next action.

Raw capture

A name is not yet an opportunity.

Daily debrief

Phase 04 · Follow-up & review

Follow up while the conversation still has context.

Run a two-week post-show follow-up window, prioritise records by fit and intent, maintain the ROI/pipeline tracker and complete one post-show review.

01

Commercial evidence

Qualified opportunities, pipeline state, agreed actions and meaningful sales progression.

02

Conversation evidence

Meetings, qualified visitors, intent, objections, timing and follow-up engagement.

03

Activity evidence

Accounts researched, contacts processed, outreach, scans and completed follow-up actions.

The tracker makes event contribution observable; it does not claim attribution certainty or guarantee ROI.

Interactive event pipeline

See what happens operationally at every stage.

Explore the handoff between Overland and the client, the information created and the next action: from event objectives through pipeline review.

The Sprint can operate as a standalone event motion or feed evidence into an existing GTM Engine engagement.

Facilitate objectives and measurement hierarchy.
Client role
Confirm commercial priorities and event constraints.

Included and excluded

Commercial GTM execution: not event production.

The boundary protects focus: Overland structures the pipeline motion while the client and event partners own the physical event environment and core sales decisions.

Strong fit

A meaningful B2B event with a defined commercial market.

There is enough time to prepare, executives can participate, CRM ownership exists and the team wants disciplined follow-through.

Not the right fit

A last-minute request for generic booth traffic.

The team expects guaranteed meetings, has no follow-up ownership, or needs event production rather than GTM execution.

Sprint or Engine?

Choose by operating horizon.

The Sprint is event-bound. GTM Engine is the ongoing market motion; existing clients can connect event evidence into it.

Experienced event operator

Built from 30+ international trade shows: not invented event theatre.

Overland applies practical GTM operating experience to targeting, conversations, qualification and follow-through. Verified client event case studies will be added when approved.

What the event can teach
  • Which account segments engage
  • Which messages create conversations
  • Which objections repeat
  • Which follow-up paths progress

Trade Show FAQ

Know the operating boundaries before the event.

How early should we start?

The Sprint can support up to eight weeks of pre-show preparation. Earlier engagement gives more room for targeting and outreach, but does not guarantee better outcomes.

Do you guarantee meetings before the event?

No. Overland manages targeting, outreach and booking workflows, but prospect behaviour cannot be guaranteed.

Is cold calling included?

Calling can be part of the pre-show and follow-up GTM workflow where appropriate. There is no fixed event call quota.

Do you work at the event itself?

The Sprint can support up to four event days depending on the agreed scope.

Are travel costs included?

No. Travel, accommodation, passes and related event expenses are separate.

Do you build trade-show booths?

No. The Sprint focuses on commercial GTM execution rather than booth design or build.

What happens after the event?

Overland runs a two-week follow-up window, maintains the ROI/pipeline tracker and completes one post-show review.

Can this work with GTM Engine?

Yes. Event accounts, conversations and pipeline can connect into an existing GTM operating system.

Make the event part of the pipeline

Don't wait until the booth opens to start selling.

Build the account list, outreach, meetings, qualification, CRM workflow and follow-up before the event begins.
