How this is calculated

Required wins = revenue target ÷ ACV. Required qualified opportunities = required wins ÷ entered win rate. Current creation normalizes your monthly qualified opportunities to the selected period. This is not a forecast.

How to identify a pipeline bottleneck

What is a pipeline bottleneck?

A pipeline bottleneck is the stage, operating constraint or information gap that most limits useful commercial progress. It may be insufficient volume, weak conversion, poor meeting quality, slow movement, unreliable follow-up or missing visibility.

How do you identify a pipeline bottleneck?

Start with the revenue requirement, map actual stage volumes, inspect absolute loss and downstream impact, then validate the apparent constraint against deal-level evidence. The lowest conversion rate is not automatically the most important problem.

What is the difference between a volume problem and a conversion problem?

A volume problem means too few suitable accounts, contacts or opportunities enter the system. A conversion problem means enough volume enters but does not progress. Use the Outbound Capacity Planner to investigate upstream capacity.

Why can more meetings make pipeline worse?

More meetings can consume seller time without improving pipeline when targeting, expectations or qualification are weak. Review what constitutes a qualified sales meeting before increasing booking volume.

What should a weekly pipeline review include?

Review target versus pipeline, opportunities created, stage movement, meeting quality, stalled deals, dated next steps, the primary constraint and decisions with named owners. For outsourced motions, see how to measure outsourced SDR performance.
